VICTORIA.
The reef in the face is now about, ten inched thick and yesterday the mauager discovered a flinty vein crossing the lode. This is looked on a* an excellent indica tion for gold in this vicinity, deposits of the precious metal baring invariably been found in close proximity to the junction of a " flinty '' with the lode.
