Thames Rifle Rangers Prize Firing.
The fourth competition for Capt. H. T. Rowo's prize took place on Saturday last, and as will be seen has been successfully carried off by Vol. Downie, who has won it three times out of four competitions, the conditions being that it must be won twice in succession or three limes at intervals. There were also four other prizes given by Messrs jfteal, butcher, Eorgie, Gr. McCaul and Mr Mcßoberts, grocer. AH the prizes won at the two. previous competitions will be presented by Major Withers to the winners on Thursday evening after inspection. The following are some of the scores made on last Saturday, five shots at each dis tance:—
