Pedestrianisni is not dyingput in Auckland. An interesting match is now on the (apis ; it is for £50 aside, and is a seren mile match between two of the best known local peds, Fernandez and Hendry. The match is to come off at the Domain cricket ground on the 14th inst. !
The marriage of Doctor Haines to Miss Lizzie Isaacs is announced.
At a final meeting of the creditors of A. G. Grant (deceased), Mr Thome appeared for the trustee, and said that in consequence of the death of the debtor, any further proceedings were unnecessary. The trustee wonld administer the estate in the usual way for the benefit of creditors.
