REUBEN PARR.

In the drive towards the Twenty-third of Jane a splice has occurred in the lode and this has apparently affected the quality of the quartz, as a few colors of gold hare been seen in the stone, and altogether it has a kindlier appearance. The end of the drive is now getting under the workings of the upper levels. The stuff from the winze on the Unicorn lode has tpen crashed for the yield of 18ozs 15dwts gold. About 29 loads of stuff were treated, and the result is very disappointing as colors of gold were seen freely in the stone.
