The mino manager, Mr C. Wilion, reports that he has been reUying the
tramway and timbering the 160 feet level, and has started to drive to the western boundary. There is at present about four feet of quartz in the face of the drive, two of which has the appearance of being payable. A trial crushing will be sent from it next week. Between these two levels filling in and timbering the stopes has been in progress. Intermediate Level: By cutting into the footwall a much better clrss of country has been found for driving. On this level the lode is a large size—about three feet of it. which is looking well. i« being suved. It is full of mineral and showing large blotches of gold when breaking down the reef"
