During the past few days the manager has been engaged baling out the wiose on the blue leader at No. 2 level' with ths> intention to sinking to connect with No. 3 level to supply air. to the contractors; The first breaking down took place this morning disclosing a good sited body of crashing dirt, gold being seen freely: in the stone while a small parcel of rich specimens were obtained. Other shots were to be fired this afternoon, and would probably increase the day's haul of golden stone. The manager, Mr Jenkins, telegraphed m . follows to the directors this afternon. " Broke down this morning, and obtained about lOlbs fair specimens. Gold showing in bottom of winze."
