The Mohaka Goldflelds

A party specially selected to visit and report on the Mohaka quartz reefs returned to-day and brought back a quarter of a ton of stone, lodged in the Bank of New Zealand for transmission to Auckland for crushing and testing. The party report that quartz reefs undoubtedly have been discovered of an auriferous character. The gold is extremely difficult to get at, and must require a large capital and perseverance.
