WELLINGTON.
This day.
The Jury in the case of Wilson for indecent assault were locked up all night and returned to Court at ten this morning with a verdict of "Not guilty." The foreman stated there was a doubt, but they gave the prisoner the benefit.
A man named Palmer attempted suicide this morning by cutting an artery in the arm. The wound is not dangerous, and the supposed cause is incapability to obtain work.
