More Mackayism.
At the Magistrate's Court this morning Eobt. Atkinson (Andrews ?) formerly Customs Officer at the Thames, and well known petitioner to the House of Representatives, was charged with horsewhipping Mr McKellar, Collector of Customs here, m the Custom House this morning. The supposed cause is through some evidence given before a select committee, and with a view of bringing the whole matter regarding the occurrence before the public.
The Jury in the case of Wilson for indecent assault was locked up all night and discharged. this morniug without a verdict. The prisoner will be tried again on Monday.
The charge of false pretences against S. W. Jackson proceeding.
