NEW WHAU.
This mine was visited today—l6o feet level: Theireef here is of great size and a slight improvement has taken place on the footwall of the lode which is not quite so hungry looking. la the intermediate drive beyond the heave the lode^bears a promising appearance, and I was. told that gold had been seen in it. It is certainly the best looking piece of reef. X havo seen in the mine for a long timo. ': -
