;*—— •—fait 1 This day. A D^gtor Cparged with Maaj/ slaughter, j/vY. Moffitt, of Winton, was arrested this afternoon, on a charge of manslaughter, and was remanded pending the inquest. It seems he was called upon to attend Mrs Cameron in her confinement, but failed to successfully deliver the child, and went away, and when asked to retnrn, as alleged, he refused. Eventually another doctor was called in, but he was too late to be of any real use, the child being dead, and the mother dying | afterwards. ' v
