In view of the renewal of an angry scene on O'Donnell's amended question as to the propriety of the reception of the French Ambassador, intense anxiety was displayed in the House of Commons as to the action the Government would take in the matter. have already beeu examined by the Agent-General of PoutV Australia, and will be examined when the Commission reassemble. It is not. expected that the report will b<? ready before 1881. The Albanians have issued a circular, directed to the Powers, protesting against the cession of Janina and other places to Montenegro, and declaring that rather than submit they will perish with their wives and families.
