REUBEN PARR.
The winze sinking on the Unicorn lode in main drive is down about seven feet. The reef bears a healthy appearance and a few specks of gold have been set n in the stone. To-day a windlass was being erected. In the other drive strong water was issuing from the face which led to supposition that another lode was near at hand. The water is now coming out of the country, but there is no sign of the lode. The'prime object of this drive is to get under the 23rd of Juue run of gold so successfully worked some years ago.
