ALBURNIA.
The final retorting for the month took place to-day for the return of 401ozs—the result of about 10 days' crushing. This with the previous lodgements brings the month's total up to 20450z5. It is probable that this handsome yield will pay a dividend of 10s per share. In the mine there is little new since last report. 160 feet level: There is no change in the lode in east drive—it is still apparently a net work of white quartz reins through a greyish sandstone. 70 feet level: The hanging wall leader in the face is eight or 10 inches thick, and shews good mineral and colors occasionally. To-day the men were employed in stripping. The Sons of Freedom stopes are without change. Gold was visible in several places in the atopes at the intermediate level. Preparations are still being made for the comencement of operations in DixonY section. The melted return is 20240zs gold. ±
