ALBION.
This is the name of a company formed to work a thirty men's ground holding adjoining the Columbia and on the Sons of Freedom line of reef. The company comprises 16,000 shares of £1 each, which are principally held in Auckland, the directorate being composed of gentlemen of that city. Mr Bowler, wha is atpre« sent superintending operations, has started a small staff of men to clean bat toe old Baby tunnel, and when this is accomplished, a mine survey will be made, end a start made at driving for the Sons of Freedom reef. It is also projected to pat in a tunnel in conjunction with the Columbia. The company has £500 on band with which to carry on preliminary operations.
