The attendance at the Academy of Music on Saturday evening was much better than on the previous evening, the pit and galleiy beiDg well fi led. The piece chosea was Tom Taylor's four-act drana, "The Ticket-of-Leave Man," a piece we may say previously performed here by the Cricketers' Amateur Dramatic Club Mr J. B. Steele was very sacres9iV m the character of the uckeL-^f-leave re :-<i, honest, law-hunted Bob Erlerly, though we think he scarcely dressed the p;n appropriately. His rendition of the pathetic passages was veiy effective, and every \ )int won warm encomiums from the audience.
