In the Assembly last night Mr Service made a speech, in the course of which he said he was aware his parly was on the eve of a grtat political battle, but would not abandon his position, as he was convinced the country was favorable to his scheme of reform.
The International Exhibition Building in Carlton Gardens has been headed over to the "Victorian Commissioners.
