A meeting of the Heform Association has resolved to send the following address to Mr Gladstone:—From the remote dependency of the British Empire, the members of the Invercargill Liberal Beform Association desire to convey their congratulations on the success of the Liberal cause in the parent country. They regard the ' wise and . beneficial legislation—a peaceful foreign- policy, the means of prosperity toebmmerce, and at the same time augurrag- success in tbe land of their adoption of kindred principles of Liberalism, whose chief exponent in New Zealand is Sir George Grey.
