' A man named Worms was charged with forging a receipt for £2, purporting to be signed by Messrs Hoffman; and Lawrence Jellings was obavged with forging a cheque said to be signed by J. Abbott for £65 on the Colonial Bank. Both were remanded.
Cosgrave and Co.'s shop was; broken into and the cash box rifled of £10 last night. The police are investigating the
