Melbourne, This day. Traces of the Kelly Gang,
The Police in Pursuit.
In connection with the report that traces of the Kellys had been discovered, it has transpired that a large body of police has left Bennalla (a township near the Strathbogie Ranges, where the Kellys have for some time past been supposed to be hiding) on special service, but particulars regarding the same are withheld.
According to the past advices from Mauritius freights to the colonies are at 25s to 30s. The stock of sugar is 1000 tons.
