London, May 27. Afghan Affairs. The London Press confirms a report which has lately been circulated to the effect that the Ameership of Afghanistan has been offered to the Afghan pretender, Abdurrahman Khan. The offer is said to have been made in consequence of Abdurrahman's friendly relations with the British Government, and in order to conciliate the Afghans and maintain the dynasty of Dost Mahommed. Komb, May 27th. The elections to the Italian Parliament are now proceeding. Garabaldi has chosen the opportunity to address a letter to the electors, in which he severely attacks the preset t dynasty, and declares it is ruining Italy. Hongkong, May 26. The opening prices for China Teas at Foo Chow are two taels above last year. The quality is considered about the same as last season's. Valpabaiso, May 26. The ship Antipodes, bound for Sydney from London, which put in here recently
in a leaky state, and to discharge cargo, will probably have to be condemned.
