Private cablegrams have been received from America containing information that Hanlon has formally agreed- to tow Trickett on the Thames in for the Sportsman Cup and stakes. Trickett starts for England £ immediately. A meeting has been called for the purpose of providing funds. It is probable his brother William will accompany him. Irregularities in the accounts of the chief clerk of. tho Exhibition have been discovered. A sum of £500 cannot be accounted for. Monday. In the Legislative Assembly the second reading of Mr Service's Befonns of Constitution Bill takes place on the Ist June.
