The Orient Company's steamer Chimborazo arrived here to-day from Australia. , The three per cent consols are 99f ; five per cent New Zealand loan, 1880, 105. At the wool sales to-day, 7030 bales were offered, making a total of 261,900 bales catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale shows a much better demand. • The English cricket team, in their match against Australians, made 106 runs, and the Australians won the match by 10 wickets.
