The steamers Munawatu and Patea, about which anxiety existed owing to their non arrival, arrived at their respective destinations this morning,-' they having sheltered from the recent western gales..

The body of a lad named Mclntosb, who was drowned in a flood at the head of the river last month, was found lying on the Bay beach yesterday.

At the inquest a verdict was given of "Accidentally drowned."
