The annual meeting of the abore Com* pany, which was to hare been held at noon yesterday .lapsed for want of a quorum. The balance-sheet, which had been prepared for presentation to the shareholders* shows that the operations of the year were commenced with a balance to credit of £16 16s lid, and that the receipts amounted to £277 12s 6d, while the expenditure reached a total of £350 5s 7d, thus making a debit balance of £25 16s 2d. Against this, however, there is a sum of over £200, which the fourth call (now. overdue) is expected to yield. The mining manager reports that his men are engaged in raising from the lerel, in order to reach the bottom of the shaft, which work he expects to have completed in a few days. Tbo mine will then hare been opened up from top- to bottom and WtU rentilated,
