Yesterday. EOBBEEY AND VIOLENCE AT KAWAKAWA. - A man named Watson, a late arrival from Sydney, was arrestfed at Eawakawa for robbery from* the person of a man nam'd Bankft. Mr Greenleaf, a gumbuyer at Whangaruiu, has been severely: assaulted by a person named Jerry Shine. The police have gone to arrest the aggressor. There are now numerous cases awaiting trial, and there are no J.P.'s or magistrate to adjudicate. It is a disgrace to the Government for such a state,of affeirs to continue. '. ■
