This day. Mr John Keid has announced himself as a candidate. •
Fatal Accident.
A fatal accident occurred on Sunday afternoon by which a lad 16 years of age, named Charles Haggitt lo.it his life. He and a companion wei-e put shooting, and when in the act of putting on an overcoat one of the guns exploded; and the charge entered Haggitt's side, killing him almost immediately. At the inquest to• day a verdict of accidental death-was returned.
