A good payable return is expected from the fortnightly retorting which takes place tomorrow. Yesterday a slight improvement was 4 noticed in the big reef in the tunnel south cross-cut, and yesterday also some 20 or 30 lbs ef specimen stone were obtained from the No. 3 reef above tunnel level.
