This day.

The steamer Kakanui which went ashore at Toi Toi harbor, got off yesterday, with comparatively little damage. Fatal Accident. John Bogers, rabbiter for MacKellar, was found on Sunday at the Blue Mountains, near Tapanui, with his head severed from his body, having been shot by one barrel of his gun exploding while charging the other.
