(from oxts own co-respondent.) Auckland, This afternoon The New Golden Crown G.M.Co.
At a meeting of the directors of the New Golden Crown G.M.Co. to-day, Mr Bunlop was appointed mine manager. Tenders are to be called for driving 100 feet prospecting drive, as recommended in Dunlop'B report, which was adopted. Mr Alexander was appointed a director in the place of Mr J. L. Wilson. The Caledonian G.M.Co. The Caledonian meeting carried out the advertised programme, and intend giving two shares for each one now held. The following resolutions were passed. Ist. " That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that a new one be formed under the ' Joint Stock Companies Act, I860.'" 2nd. "That Mr Stoddart be appointed liquidator." 3rd. " That 25 shares be the qualification for directors." 4th. " That the present directors remain in office until the end of present year." Some discussion as to the Act under which the company should be formed took place, but it was ultimately resolved (hat it should be formed under the " Joint Stock Companies' Act, 1860.
