The Shorts' Handicap, 50 sors; 1 mile, 240 yds: Soukar, 1; Grand Duchess. 2: Maid of Honor, 3. The Consolation Bace wound up the day's sports. The racing was excellent. Two totalisators were seized, and six ' men connected with their working were arrested by the police.
