As will be seen, ou reference to our special telegrams, Mr J. C. Young has been acquitted of the grave charges made against him. Mr Young was Cor many years known and respected here, and the public will be glad of the result of the case. Whether the expenditure of such a large amount of money on the prosecution was justified by the suspicions excited, is doubtful; but we are glad that our old friend has come out of the fire unscathed.
