The disgraceful behaviour of the Thames larrikins merits the most careful attention -oxr-tlnrpaTtr of the" police. Their latest piece of mischief has been the disturbing of the newly laid asphalt in Cochrane street between Pollen and Queen streets. The perpetrators of this malicious act should receive as a punishment a good thrashing with that instrument with nine strings commonly called the cat. A reward has been offered for such information as will lead to the apprehension and conviction of the young blackguards. We earnestly hope that the efforts of the authorities will be successful, and that these ne'w-dO'Weels will be brought to justice. __^^
