Lord Derby, in a letter to his tenants, supported the Liberals. E»rl Grey, in a letter, expresses his distrust of the Liberal party, and of Mr Gladstone's leadership. Mr Gladstone replied, - vindicating himself, and reiterating Jim intention to follow the leadership of Lord Hartington and Ear] Gnmville. The oountry doubts this.
