COLUMBIA.

-We were slightly in error in stating yesterday that the negotiations between this company and the New .North Devon had fallen through completely. The local authorities were unable to conclude arrangements, but on the matter being referred to Auckland they were amicably settled, pending the granting of certain necessary privileges by the Aburnia, which that company are, we have the best authority for stating, disposed to grant. Work will consequently be started ?ery shortly.
