Latest Mauritius news states that previous to the Bth March two cargoes of refined sugar were dispatched to Melbourne, viz.: one cargo 250 tons, one of 400; another cargo of 350 tons was loading. The directors of the Meat Preserving Company are considering the desirability of extending the business in connection with the freezing process. Carlotta Patti sings in Melbourne tonight for the first time.
