The Tararua left Melbourne at 11.15 a.m. on the 6th, but grounded going down the river, and was detained till 9 a.m. on the 7th; arrived at Hobartown 11.30 p.m.; sailed 11 a.m. on the 9tb, and experienced strong S.W. wiuds and bight seaa till arriral. Passengers for Dunedin—-Misses Young:, Smith, KeynoldjHeury, Wilson, Mrs Young.MHlaid, Hobb, Hill, Messrs Gallon, Young, Fiscer, Hamlyn, Thompson, Smith, "Cell, and nine steerage; 17 tons cargo. For Lyttelton-Mr & Mrs Champey, Mrs Smal« ley, Ross, and 12 steerage; 45 tons cargo. For Wellington—Mr and Mrs Millar and child, Mr and Mrs Clarke, Messrs Goingridge, Lawson, Baker, Fowles (2), Canan, Malcolm, and 25 steerage, 53 torn cargo. For Auckland—Messrs Maxwell, Meldrum, Starle, Johnson, two ateerag*, and 34 tons cargo.
