The English Elections.
London, April 5. The Hon Mr Gladstone has been elected for Midlothian by a large majority.
In the elections now proceeding the net Liberal gains are 62.
Dublin returns give one Home Euler and one Liberal.
The Hon E. Lowe has been re-elected for the London University.
The Times in a leading article has reason to believe that the Ministry will resign before Parliament meets.
Three per cent, consols are 98|; brandy 10s 6d.
