The following Exhibition awards have been announced for New Zealand to-day:—First prizes, Burt (of Dunedin), for lead piping; Buchanan, for illustration of grasses; Colonial Museum, geology and natural history; Professor Haast, ethnology; Anna Wilson (of Dunedin), for lace; Mrs Beal for shell ornaments. Second prizes: Burt (of Dunfedin), for bottling machine; Burton, for taxidermist exhibits; Penning;*, for stuffed birds. There are sundry New Zealand fourth prizes.
