Last night. At nine o'clock to niaht young Scott will enter upon bis self-imposed under* taking to walk 112 miles in 24 hours. His only rests during the subsequent 24 hours will be three minutes at 3 a m. on Saturday morning, 12 minutes at 8 a.m., and 12 minutes at Ipm. on Saturday. A band will be in attendance during both evenings.

Young Scott is walking well in.the 112 miles feat. Over Keren hundred people paid at the doors. He did the first 28 miles in five hours.
Cleared; the Loch ITrr, for London, with a cargo valued at £32,957. The Chamber of Commerce is inviting a suggestion from* the local manufacturers for the Commission on Local ludustiifs. ,
Several complaints were received at the Board of Education yesterday from the School Committees regarding the length of the holidays. The Board replied that tlie holidays were appointed from Wellingion.
