The following is the conclusion of tho meeting yesterday :—

OPEN HANDICAP TROTTING RACE, of 6 bovb. ; 4 times round the the course; no weight less than list. Mr AllweH'a Blackthorn (aged), •cratch../ 1 Mr Wright's Boy (aped), 150 yards ... 2 Mr Pearson's Minnie (aged), 100 yards,., 3 Mr Carter's Paddy (aged), scratch ... 0 Mr Stranger's Pet (aged), 275 yards „, 0

This event was one of the most interesting of the day. The favourites were Blackthorn and Faddy, both horses starting at the scratch, but the former very soon began to sbow his superiority, and gained ground in every lap of the course, coming in a winner a good distance ahead.

A Cavalry race for Bsovs followed, which was won by Mr Pollard's Derby ; and the consolation race for 5 soys was taken by Eclipse after a good race with Sweetbriar, owned by Mr Donovan.
