In his weekly report, published yesterday, the manager refers to the improved appearance of the lode in the Point liussell- section, but mentions that ro change in the value of the stuff sent to the mill from that part of the mine was perceptible at the time. Since the writing of the report, the quartz has yielded butter, and is now remunerative. This is the cause of' the 'present rise in the shares.
