Last night.
The Constabulary are proceeding rapidly wihh the formation of the road, and have reached KaUpokouui Bridge, and commenced working north.
Colonel Roberts leaves Otake to-day for Opunake en route to the camp at Bayley's iarin.
A move forward by the Constabulary from the latter place is confidently expected on the arrival of Colonel Roberts, the officer in command of the district.
