NEGLECTED PORTIONS OF THE TOWN.

Sib, —Now that we hare had scarlet fever in Soaley street, and a fatal case in the immediate neighbourhood, could uot the Borough authorities do something to, improve the copdition of the stagnant drain? If not 'possible to cover it in could it not be regularly flushed ?—I am, &c, A Eatepayeb. March 3rd.
