Last night.

At a meeting of tie University to-day there was a very full attendance, when it was determined that the next annual meeting should be held in Wellington It was resolved that the diploma for honors shall in future read A.B. has been duly admitted to the Degree of Master of Arts in the University of New Zealand, with class honors. The candidates for Juaior Scholarships will in future be required to state the school or schools at which they received their education for

the five years immediately preceding; such information will bo published in the case of successful candidates. It was declared to be desirable that the University should acquire the povrer of granting honorary degrees.
