Last night. The breakwater has been extended 130 feet, and the Harbor Board have decided to at once commence the erection of wharfage for 300 feet along the inside of it at depth of water ranging from 8 to 10 feet at low water.
Merchants are offering from 3s 3d to 3s 6d for wheat, but the farmers want 4s, and if they cajnnoj^^eji^jthat-jßiU^fei^ . i£ffl&4iFSefc~6lr their own account. The harvest operations are well forward, and no doubt now but that the yield will be the heaviest ever known in the district.
