In the House of Commons motion* , were made to restrict the duration of Parliament to five years, and also to abolish the immunity of Members of Parliament and Peers from arrest, Both motions were defeated. London, February 24. A Reign of Terror-
The Nihilists are establishing a perfect reign of terror, and they threaten to set fire to St. Petersburgh. A Dissolution probable.
It is expected Beaconsfield will probably dissolve Parliament about the 3rd of March. The Melbouiae Exhibition. Childers, Agent-General for Victoria, bad an interview with Earl Beaconsfield on the subject of His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales opsning the Melbourne Exhibition. A favorable official reply is expected.
