Rewi on the Wanganui affair.
A messenger from Topia, of Wanganui, was at Puniu on Saturday, sent to interview Rewi, and inform him that one of Topia's natives hud been shot by Major Kemp's people, ltewi said his people would not go to assist either party; they must settle the matter between themselves —he hoped amicably.
