Heunessy's brandy, case, 365; three star, 45s 6d ; Hennessy's brandy, bulk in qrs., 11s 9d ; New Zealand oats, 3s per bushel; maize, per 601bs, 2s sd; candles, D.R.J., per lb 7d to 4jd; kerosene, diamond, per gallon, Is 7Jd to £d. Sydney Exhibition Frizes. At the Exhibition the first prize for wheat was won by Mr Gill of Otago; for oats, Cunningham of Christchurch ; Meek of Oamaru, for barley. Harley and Nelson, judges, give the palm to New Zealand for malting barley and oats and to Adelaide for-wheat. Andrew of Nelson got second prize for hops, and Strong of Invercargill 3rd. Coffee and Trent of Cbristchurch got 2nd for pepper. McDonald and Miller of Dunedin Ist for bacon ; Blake of Pic ton ditto. Shoddy of Dunedin second for hams.
