This day.

The coach from Palmerston North to Napier this morning met with an accident at Stoney Creek, four miles from Palmerston where the coach was upset, and Commissioner Booth, who was a passenger, was so much hurt that he had to be left behind. The. other passengers escaped with slight bruises, and after a few hours delay proceeded on their journey in a fresh coach. Tii£ accident was occasioned by the liorses shying at a tent iv the road.
